Chicago Bus Shuttle

For those travelling to/from Chicago and the OIL conference, we are providing a bus service to Montrose, PA open to all attendees. Montrose is in Northeastern Pennsylvania (near the New York border), approximately 14-hour drive-time from Chicago.

The “OIL Bus” is one round-trip coach bus chartered by OIL. The coach bus has reclining seats, restrooms, overhead lights, and climate control. The OIL bus will be driven by a professional, licensed driver. We will coordinate stops for meals and breaks, as necessary. Join us for a safe, relaxing trip to and from OIL!

• Chicago to OIL:
• Departure: Petra Church (3005 Macarthur Blvd in Northbrook, IL 60062) at 7pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. All passengers must arrive at Petra for check-in by 6:30pm.
• Arrival: The bus driver(s) will be driving through the night with targeted arrival at Montrose Bible Conference around lunchtime on Wednesday, January 6.
• Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the bus is full.
• All seats must be pre-reserved and fully paid prior to departure.
• Round-trip bus fare will be $128, which includes the gratuity paid to the bus drivers.
• As an incentive, all passengers who ride on the bus will pay the early deadline fee for the OIL conference, regardless of registration date.
• During registration, you will be prompted to pay the entire bus fare ($128) in full plus the minimum $25 deposit for OIL.
• OIL to Chicago:
• Departure: The OIL bus will leave Montrose Bible Conference after lunch on Saturday, January 9, 2010.
• Arrival: The bus driver(s) will be driving through the night with targeted arrival at Petra Church in Northbrook around 3am on Sunday, January 10.
• Cars may be parked at Petra Church by bus passengers during the OIL conference.

FAQ

1. What if my plans change and I cannot come to OIL or ride the bus? Cancellations with full refund will be accepted by email only to oilbus@winteroil.org. Notification must be received by 12pm NOON on Monday, December 28, 2010.
2. Can I take the bus just one-way (either Chicago to Montrose OR Montrose to Chicago)? Is there a reduced price? Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate one-way trips.
3. Can I transfer my bus seat to someone else? No, please cancel your reserved seat by emailing oilbus@winteroil.org. In order to reserve a seat, you must do so through the website and pay in full, prior to departure.
4. Can I reserve a seat for someone? Only one seat is reservable per person. If you know of someone who wants to ride the bus, please encourage them to register for the OIL conference and the bus as soon as possible!
